Guest Reviews & Ratings
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring the streets of NOLA, and I loved the mini fridge for keeping my refreshments cold. The Heliconia Room, located right as you enter the main hall, was spacious and comfortable, leading out to a beautiful green garden and pool. However, there was a slight musty and old smell in the room.
This hotel was like a hidden gem in New Orleans. The rooms were perfect to relax after a long day of exploring, equipped with a mini fridge to keep your refreshments cool. The service was extremely friendly and helpful, offering great advice on where to visit in the city. The location was an oasis of quiet relaxation, situated at the beginning of The Garden District, making it easy to reach popular spots like Canal Street and Bourbon Street. The dining experience may not have been extraordinary, but the other amenities such as the Spa and pool were always available for convenience.
My stay at this hotel was absolutely delightful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, offering a door leading to the lush green garden and pool. I also loved the mini-kitchen and the large closet with two very comfy robes. The breakfast room was super comfy, with big beds and soft towels. The service was exceptional, with staff who were so helpful to me as a newbie to NOLA, offering advice on places to visit in New Orleans and how to get around using public transport. The warm and friendly atmosphere truly enhanced my experience. The location was excellent, perfect in the Lower Garden District, and it put me right where I wanted to be. The winning ground, as well as being close to the GHI, truly made my stay convenient. While the dining experience was remarkable overall, offering self-serve cereal, toast, and standard store-bought muffins, there was room for some improvement to make it perfect. The facilities were top-notch, and I enjoyed every bit of my time by the pool area, experiencing the exceptional hospitality provided by Frank, who was one of the nicest people I've ever met. The hotel also offered plenty of 'extra' food options for me to explore the area. Overall, a fantastic experience with just a few areas that could be even better.
